MeeGo ?
Too little too late: Intel+Nokia vs. Apple vs Google vs Microsoft, or perhaps better than them all?
Wondering on the Android vs. MeeGo, which one will be more open?
I assume will be a question of investment; All these companies have very deep pockets, so could see some interesting stuff.
Intel could release an interesting compiler tool-chain, and Nokia a telecom stack (chain? what are the proper metaphors here?), if they open up/access their hardware groups...
we do live in interesting times!

Fedora 12
seems oddly cleaner; somehow clearer.
did have a couple of issues with mythtv ...
seems the default selinux settings caused mythweb to fail to access the mythtv back end.
Bonus!
the pvr card (reasonably new) just worked! did not have to dig up the cd with the firmware.

google wave seems to be most like facebook... pages?
so far my main use case for google wave, is similar to facebook:
each wave is an individual group newsfeed;
sort of as if I had many facebooks, not just one...
chat with people, arrange lunch, share pics/docs/ideas...
so could facebook create "pages" rather than waves and create a similar structure?
each "page" could be personalized to a specific group of friends/ time period / event / subset of information....
